A University of Cincinnati graduate, Courtney Allen is a mechanical engineer who worked for Procter & Gamble for many years before deciding to take time off to raise her three children. Allen and her family had been drawn to Mason in 2003 for the exceptional Mason City Schools and all that the Mason community had to offer. So when she decided to look for part-time work, her remarkable experience living in the community made it apparent that she wanted to use her skills and passion to make a difference in the Mason community. The Community Basket Representative position was the perfect opportunity. She enjoys being able to welcome new residents to the Mason area and help educate them on all the the community has to offer.
Allen is passionate about Mason City Schools and is currently serving as President of the school board and the Student Achievement Liaison to the Ohio School Board Association. She also serves on the Mason Schools Foundation Board and sever other supporting committees. She is the proud mom of three Mason Comets, Bryce, Dawson, and Karissa.
