Wade Hayden
Community Development Intern
Wade Hayden is currently pursuing a co-operative education opportunity and serves as a community development intern for MADECDC. Wade's academic studies at the University of Cincinnati's School of Planning have given him insight into various planning subjects, including land-use regulation, zoning, community engagement, landscape architecture, and more. He uses his studies, as well as his research-oriented approach, to understand how planning tools and policies shape communities, aligning closely with the Mason Mile's mission and values.
Outside of MADE, Wade participates in various UC clubs, including the Urbanism club and DAAP Tribunal. These clubs enable him to be involved in the student community while discussing relevant topics centered on student government, urban planning, and the greater Cincinnati area. Additionally, Wade volunteers on the weekends at The 86 Jefferson, a local coffee shop that offers a safe space for UC students to study and connect.
